Happy Weekend to you, my friends!
Yesterday was a great day at Crater lake! Check out the sweet, the funny & the spectacular moments our family shared together.
A certain somebody wasn’t too happy with the drive to Crater Lake…

but after about an hour of driving, we had arrived!!!

Bella didn’t skip a beat to announce her presence to the park ranger!

Before enjoying the Lake, we grabbed some lunch at Rim Village Cafe.

Lunch was a Greek salad and Quest bar since there was no meat included with the salad
.

Sweet moment captured – high five for me!

Check out these views!

The amazing flying baby!

Family photo – this is what happens when you use the camera’s self timer + a tree stump as the photographer!

Mila was more fascinated by Bella than the Lake.

On our way home, we made a pit stop to admire the views of Mt. Shasta.

Family love – I am grateful for this day!

Okay, my friends – I’m on my way out the door to the Farmer’s Market but I’ll be back later to share with you my finds, eats and work out! Have an amazing day!
Question: What’s your favorite thing about a Farmer’s Market? What beautiful place have you visited lately?
XOXO,
Angel

Hey, so I was watching KVIE yesterday for some God awful reason (LOL). They were having a discussion about Farmer Markets and how to shop for ones meals. I thought this was kind of genius because I always have trouble with coming up with ideas. Usually we shop around the meal. So for example, I say, “Lets have Italian tonight” so I shop according to that idea, or “Lets have chicken”. They were saying to shop by ingredient, that way you are shopping for in season items. Never thought of it that way.
We know that avacado’s, strawberrys and fruits of those kinds are summery items so why would I try to make a meal around that in the winter. It will be more expensive because the supply is low. DUH!
Now, my new challenge is to get more familiar with in season items so that I can shop that way!
Have fun at the Farmers Market and I look forward to reading and seeing what you have going on later!
xoxo Amy
