Yesterday, I made a visit to the Farmer’s Market so I thought it’d be cool to do a vlog on my food finds since I’d like to incorporate more videos to my blog! (Forgive my low key/no make-up look, that is usually how I go run my errands, especially when I still have to workout afterwards. )
Yesterday turned out to be a pretty light food day for me now that I look back at it but I have a funny feeling that I’ll make up for it today since I already woke up pretty hungry!
Breakfast was 3 eggs (1 whole & 2 whites) with breakfast chicken sausage and laughing cow cheese stuffed in a pita. I know it’s pretty much the same breakfast as last time, but you really can’t go wrong with eggs in a pita in the morning, at least not in my books.
When I got home from running errands, all I wanted for lunch was some fresh fruit and veggies that I had got from Farmer’s Market. I made a plate of grapes, 2 persimmons and a cucumber dressed with lemon.
But about an hour later, I was hungry again so I mixed a big bowl of greek yogurt with chocolate casein protein powder and a handful of Kashi Go Lean cereal…now that hit the spot! I was still full when we headed out for the evening to take Mila to a Disney on Ice show. Halfway through the show though, hunger struck! In the midst of fries, nachos, pepperoni pizza and cotton candy, I was grateful for the Quest bar in my purse. I always like to carry one of these with me in case of an emergency. Better believe, I already replaced the one I ate in my purse with a new one.
I just adore this outfit of my little minnie mouse! We had a ball at the show last night and I’m sure we’ll be back again next year!
