Food Review - PB2

Food Review – PB2

So what is PB2?  PB2 is a powdered, dehydrated form of peanut butter.  The company states that it is unlike any peanut butter you’ve ever experienced. Through a unique process that doesn’t involve the use of any chemicals they remove over 85% of the fat from premium quality peanuts.  The oil is squeezed out of roasted peanuts and what remains is their famous powdered peanut butter – all natural with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

PB2 comes in two flavors, regular peanut butter and chocolate peanut butter.

Being the peanut butter lover that I am, I couldn’t just ignore those exceptional nutritional stats, which is exactly why I ordered PB2 as soon as I heard about it. O.M.G I’m so glad that I did!! PB2 is Ahhhmazing…when added to most foods. Let me explain why…when added to shakes, oatmeal and yogurt, PB2 gives that same peanut buttery taste and I honestly don’t miss the real stuff. PB2 even tastes great as a spread on fruit and crackers. In fact, one of my all-time favorite snacks is an apple with PB2 and for less than 150 calories, I consider that to be a major score! ☺ Now the bad news, it lacks that ooey gooey sticky goodness that we’ve all learned to love and adore about traditional peanut butter. ☹ That being said, when you’re craving a creamy peanut butter sandwich, you might need to moderately indulge in the real stuff. As for the rest of time, feel free to indulge guilt free with PB2. I do!!!

Hey there :) I am really enjoying your blog so far :) Just got done reading the PB2 post. Very good information. I’m really glad you put this out there. I didn’t realize that there was a chocolate form and I am happy to see that the nutritional value is almost identical to the regular version. :) Where can I buy PB2 or do I have to order it online??

    XOXO
